Our time in Bandung
okay lets continue.....
on the 3rd day and 4th day, we left Jakarta around 12 noon and headed to Bandung on a van which they have arranged for us. it was about 3hours journey from Jakarta to Bandung. as usual i slept through the whole journey,
so we reach Bandung around 3 or 4pm. the first thing that we did was to check out the factory outlet there. OMG! they have tons and tons of factory outlet and the price are freaking cheap. We went to spend some money and when evening came i was already tired, luckily most of their factory outlet have those lounge corner for you rest. at least there is an area to relax and have a drink after spending all that money.Thank God!
only then we decide to check in to the hotel room, the name of the hotel is Grand Setiabudi Hotel, located at Jln Setiabudi. the hotel in Bandung seems much more expensive then those hotel in Jakarta. It will be great if you can get a room near the factory outlet.
Here is the view from our hotel room and we can still see the mountain from our room, it's plus point for this hotel coz in the morning when i wake up i can still see the breath taking view. cool!
so after doing some shopping it was dinner time and we head over to this typical Indonesian restaurant call Ibu Kadi (English direct translation: Mother Solemnize r hahaha), anyway if you are into trying their local food you should go to this restaurant and you get to sit in a hut. but if you are too scared then just go to any fast food will do.
so that a wrap for 3rd day.
on the 4th day we take some time to go to the biggest factory out let, called Rumah Mode (House of Mode). this place is a MUST go coz they have better selection of clothes and the place is the biggest.
so on the 4th day we did alot of sight seeing, so first up we went to Tangkuban Perahu, it's a volcano and we get to hike to the highest peak for the volcano. FYI the volcano have erupted and is no longer active. at this place please make sure you guys bring along a winter jacket coz it's gonna be freaking cold. but the scenery is breath taking. entrance ticket for this place is 50, 000 rupiah per person.
after the volcano we head to the hot spring "Sari Ater" this is nice place for you to go dipping in the hot spring. But we only get to experience the first hot spring only coz it was raining heavily when we reach there. the ticket to get into this place is just 12,000 rupiah per person, cheap cheap! they even have a showering facilities for you. just bring extra clothes when you are there.
After the hot spring we head for the a Vespa Shop, so if you guys are those vespa fanatic you might want to go to this place which is located some where around Jeans Street.
after all the we head back to the hotel to start packing coz tomorrow morning we need to leave early to go back to Jakarta to catch our flight back to SG.
