Our Time in Jakarta.

im back from holiday and chilling at home just basically doing nothing. so i have way too many things to talk about the holiday. Jakarta and Bandung was superb but honestly i prefer Bandung more then Jakarta coz it's just too polluted. But luckily we didn't spend too much time in Jakarta. So Im gonna give you guys an eye treat on what i did on my holiday. So lets go.....
Day 1
Me and Marion was the first couple to arrive as we took the earliest flight to Jakarta coz we didn't want to waste much time and to spend more time there. So the hotel that we stayed is the Aryaduta Semanggi Hotel and Apartment. which is located near the Semanggi area, where there is alot of facilities such as huge shopping centre and near to the shopping area in Jakarta.
The moment we reach there we were in search of what kind of food to eat. So guess what we saw!but too bad they didn't had any coney dog which is a big bummer.
After walking around the shops, getting tons of mineral water (which is one of the most important thing), we grab some dunkin donuts we head back to the hotel. so while waiting for the rest to arrive we rest in the room and i end up sleeping on the couch. hahaha this is typical.
at the same time check out our suite room that we are stayed, it is a 3 bedroom apartment. but if you guys are going in a big group i still prefer having individual rooms coz there is only 1 king size bed and 2 room which consist of 1 single bed in each room but if you are going with family maybe is a good i dea to get this suite room. so no point sharing anyway.
so till about 8pm WIB (waktu indonesia barat), the rest of the gang reach the hotel. there were absolutely late due to the typical massive traffic jam in Jakarta. but after that when they arrived we quickly get ready and head for the night life in Jakarta. since most of us are a reformed drunkards we decide to hang out at "Hard Rock Cafe", not too bad the place is nice and the band was good.
and this is the after effect of Jakarta's HRC. We heard from some the locals that the underground scene is good but too bad we didn't know anyone to get us there. We end the first night right after HRC.
Day 2
we were up and ready for some action pack day to day but apparently it's not my cup of tea for a holiday but since the rest make it sound convincing so i thought what the heck might as well try it. first up we went to Mangga Dua for some dirt cheap shopping but end up buying nothing coz i was saving up more for Bandung's shopping. there isn't any interesting things to buy but unless you want to get souvenirs for friends i guess it's okay.
After which the guys wanted to try the so cheap go kart at this place which i totally forget the name (coz i was sleeping thru out the journey there). but here is the picture....
after the go kart all of us headed over to FX mall, this place is so cool. i highly recommend this place coz they have a 7 storey slide which is so extreme and i time the fastest 9:99 sec from the rest, the cost for the ride is just 75, 000 rupiah per person and we also check out the state of the art karaoke room and they have about 8 different rooms which was design by some indonesian designer and not forgetting that their songs are all up-to-date. For this whole room 12 of us split $7 each, i think it's worth it if you have a big group.
after all that singing all of us is hungry, one of our friends reconmended this place that serve Nasi Goreng Giler and Pisang Bakar. the nasi goreng giler look like a typical indonesian nasi goreng but the taste is so giler, damn nice! and the pisang goreng is not too bad either.
