Travel : Finally it's Krabi, baby.

Highlight for this year is definitely our Krabi, Thailand trip. So far it has done justice to a much needed break. Manage to do some activity and some other activity are purposely leave it for our next trip to Krabi. Coz we know it was so awesome and we definitely need to return to Krabi again. All our arrangement have been great coz our friends was a regular to Krabi and we manage to get great deals on the hotel and snorkeling activity. For hotel we stayed at “Sunda Resort” which we only pay for 2 nights and get 1 night free it’s only 10min away from the City Centre Aonang. The resort has the rustic charm and if you wanna feel the kampong style but yet still be in touch with modern facilities you should try out this Hotel www.sundaresort.com the hotel has this superb swimming pool which you can overlook the hills and mountain of Krabi and the best part it’s an all halal resort which is definitely a plus point for us, additional to it the hotel has this small café that serve great Thai food.

On the first day we were so hungry the moment we reach the hotel and too tired to go anyway far so we decided to order room service. The best part room service is freaking cheap and food to die for!! And I am not kidding when I say this.

On the day it’s self we manage to catch Muay Thai boxing with a total of 10 fights and apparently people in Krabi too are very serious about their boxing. Very interesting I might say with guys as young as 11years old competing in the fights. The Thai boxing place was so freaking near to us, like less than 5 min walk to the resort. Great location! Price to watch Muay Thai boxing is only 800BHT (Estimation SGD33) but if you are into this sort of thing it’s worth the action.

On the second day we decided to just chill in the resort and to do all shopping needs as much as we could and enjoy the beach at Ao nang. It was fantastic when we get to catch the sunset, it was beautiful. The last beautiful sunset I catch was in Cambodia. So this brings out nice memories and pictures will tell you why.

The shopping are mostly on souvenirs so we decide to head to one of the shop with the friendly dude and bargain to the extreme and ended up leaving him giving in to us. Tons of souvenirs at a cheap bargain. Price for this super nice magnet of krabi cost about 100BHT (SGD4) and tuk tuk magnet 30BHT (SGD1.25) but please be warn, shop when you are good at bargaining. Teehee obviously we were good at it. And if you are those t-shirt enthusiastic you can get I Love Krabi tees for about 120BHT (SGD5) again must bargain! Hahahaha!

Did I mentioned that we discover this great restaurant which smack right next to the Aonang beach and the seafood there was so awesome to the max and we ended up eating at that place every day. It’s called Banlay Seafood and again it’s halal with ladies in tudung cooking the food and certification of halal can be seen. Food was so bloody cheap for this sort of spread for a 500BHT (SGD20) per couple!!! If you can find the same in SG I will pay you $20 for it

On 3^rd day in krabi, is definitely a highlight to our trip which is ISLAND HOPPING this is super worth it and my virgin trip on snorkeling. Our friend who help us book got us a bargain at 850BHT (SGD36) !!! I know dirt cheap! But even if I have to pay for 1000BHT (SGD41) I would still pay and go just to experience the best snorkeling ever! But I still cant get over the fishes, there were ticklish!! And honestly I was scared of small fish. But Marion on the other hand had a ball of life time scaring me with the fishes and scolding me while snorkel coz I was too scared. But overall the view of the ocean is breathtaking. This is a must to do while you are in Krabi

 I know Krabi have a place in my heart coz it was beautiful! and memories gonna last forever
