Review : Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye & Contour Palette

Can we all take a moment to appreciate what matte finishes can do for contouring the eyes and face. I would say no other palette is quite like this, but this two palette are just what you need in life and I am so obsessed with it.

Have been using this Contour Palette almost every day since I got it in the US, sadly is not easily available in-store here in Singapore but words on the streets say Luxola will bring them in soon. But if you want to get it now there is always online purchase via third party shipping like Vpost or ComGateway.

Anyway, I shall cut to the chase this 2 palette is a must buy they are like your staple item in your makeup collection. Just like those basic shirts in your wardrobe that never go out of style, same goes to these palettes.

Just so you know I have hooded eyelids and often than not I have to create my own crease and the best way to do it is by using a matte contour shade and obviously, this palette is the best way. All shades in this palette are pretty much neutral and you also can create an easy every day look to a night smokey look which could be possibly a ray of eye shadow look.

As for the contouring palette, I must make a point of these shades in this palette that made such a different for setting my under eye concealer is Lucid & Lyric, sometimes I will mix these two shades together or I would use either one and they don't crease at all since the powder is finely milled. As for the dark contouring shade is something that I love too. The tone is just nice and depending on the occasion where I want a more prominent contour the darkest shade in the palette is just nice.

So in conclusion, I would say get! Coz I know that somehow this palette can easily fit in for your makeup routine. And since there is no shimmer, glitter or satin finish its a very versatile palettes and the fact that both palettes seem to have the same formulation with easy blend ability and pigmentation of the shades is very long wearing. Even thou there is slight fall out when you dipped the brush but nothing that bother me much.
